“If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you, saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”
Luke 17:3-4 NIV
God’s design for settling conflict in relationships with others. We have to be brave and mature enough to tell others how they wronged us in the way that they can hear it. And the other person needs to be emotionally mature enough to apologize for the wrong. We forgive them and we forgive as often as we need to.
“Hatred stirs up conflict,
but love covers over all wrongs.”
Proverbs 10:12 NIV
