“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
     come before him with joyful songs.”
Psalm 100:1 NIV

We sing songs of gratitude and worship to the Lord. We bless and honor Him in our prayers and testimonies. The other part of this is that God wants us to be living the life that makes this easy to do. That we reflect on our lives and actually feel the hymns of praise.

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
John 10:10 NIV

“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10 KJV

“I came so that they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they have ever dreamed of.”
John 10:10 MSG

“My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
John 10:10 NLT

Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection freed us from the eternal consequences of sin. However, here on earth, God wants to give us a rich and satisfying life; a life that is bigger than we could ever dream of. A life full of his mercy, grace, and favor. So that we can walk in the fullness of what God wants for us.

“Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.”
Psalm 100:3 NIV

I was watching a sermon yesterday and the Pastor said he was talking to a man that had 1,000 restaurants. He asked the guy what was his secret. He said, he gets us every morning and spends two hours with God. He said the spiritual download from his fellowship with God, he spends the day doing.
I don’t think I ever had the message until recently, that we should be living our life through God. Every area of our life should be lived through God. I always thought of God as this far away God that I treated like a genie (not grant my wish) but I largely lived my life as I see fit. I pray if I need to, and he says yes or no. That only gets us creator-creation benefits from God. God will let you settle on whatever level you choose.
However, God wants to be our shepherd; the shepherd tend to the sheep’s every need. The sheep are literally dependent on the shepherd for survival. If we unlock this level of faith in our lives, we begin to experience, God the shepherd. God, that will pull every area of our life, under his will, and give us life to the full.

“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me- just as the Father knows me and I know the Father- and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one sheep and one shepherd.”
John 10:14-16 NIV

These are Jesus’ words. God wants to give an abounding and full life on earth to everyone that has faith and believes. Jesus loves everyone!

“For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.”
Psalm 100:5 NIV
