Advent Season happens in the fall. It is during the month of December. This year, Advent Season happens December 1st through December 24, 2024. It is the celebration of the birth of Jesus. This month, I will post on all things Jesus. Through his example, we learn to walk in love, integrity, and honor. Through Him we can live a life of love, joy, and peace. We can live life to the full.
“Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried to deter him saying, ‘I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?’ ”
“Jesus replied, ‘Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.’ Then John consented.”
Matthew 3:13-15 NIV
Jesus lived life in human form to be our example of living a life of love, honor, and integrity. We are baptized as symbol of washing away our old selves and becoming more like Jesus in principles.
“Then after three years, I went up to Jerusalem to get acquainted with Cephas and stayed with him fifteen days.”
“Then I went to Syria and Cilica. I was personally unknown to the churches of Judea that are in Christ. They only heard the report: ‘The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.’ And they praised God because of me.”

This was Paul’s first visit to Jerusalem as a Christian. The people that heard his story, were inspired. We become an example, as our faith makes us better humans for ourselves and others. The people that heard of Paul were inspired to become a Christian. Our conversion and becoming better humans because of it, inspires others to believe in God too. Our lives are a testimony as we embrace Biblical Principles and begin to live by them.
