Sing to the Lord a new song;
sing to the Lord, all the earth.
Psalm 96:1
Worshiping God in song unites our mind, body, and spirit towards God. The creator of the earth.
Sing to the Lord, praise his name;
proclaim his salvation day after day.
96:2
Worshiping God in song makes us thankful for salvation; thankful for Jesus’ sacrifice; thankful to be chosen by God; and thankful for our unique and fallible design.
Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.
Isaiah 12:2
Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
Psalm 96:3
We worship God, for his glory and our humility, because we are thankful for all He has done for us.
Splendor and majesty are before him;
strength and glory are in his sanctuary.
96:6
Worship brings us into the presence of God.
Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
let the sea resound, and all that’s in it.
Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them;
let all the trees of the forest sing for joy.
96:11-12
Amen! We were created to worship! Psalm 150:1-6 KJV
[1] Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: Praise him in the firmament of his power. [2] Praise him for his mighty acts: Praise him according to his excellent greatness. [3] Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: Praise him with the psaltery and harp. [4] Praise him with the timbrel and dance: Praise him with stringed instruments and organs. [5] Praise him upon the loud cymbals: Praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. [6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

Wonderful! Praising God is for us too. It shifts our perspective and we move into gratitude and love. And you realize that kind of praise can happen no matter what is happening in life. And He wants to give us the life that honors that praise! Amen!
