“Oh, how I love your law!
I meditate on it all day long.
Your commands are always with me
and make me wiser than my enemies.”
Psalm 119:97-98 NIV

You ever read viral posts? There are always mean people under the posts. I am afraid of betrayal. This is a big reason why I stall. Today, God has been dealing with me and my own blocks. It started with a sermon I watched.

“You have heard it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles.”
Matthew 5:38-41 NIV

I hear this message and I hate it! I want to stay away from evil people. But, guess what? Evil people are everywhere. You will even call them friend.

“The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the Lord delivers him from them all;
he protects all his bones,
not one of them will be broken.
Evil will slay the wicked;
the foes of the righteous will be condemned.
The Lord rescues his servants;
no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.”
Psalm 34:19-22 NIV

We have something the world doesn’t have. GOD! You can be ok with whoever sets themselves up to be your enemy because God has the final say. We win!
